Breeding conditions:

Arctic Foxes were not recorded and Pomarine Skuas bred at densities of 0.5 pair/km2. The commonest waders were Temminck's Stint, Red-necked Stint and Red-necked Phalarope.
 

Rodent dynamics:

Lemming numbers were higher than average.
